BIM Professionals is excited to have been awarded the mechanical contract for the Northwest Independent School District construction in Fort Worth, Texas. We feel privileged to be providing the coordinated mechanical shop drawings for this impressive project and to be working with the great crew at Commercial Mechanical Inc once again!
Happy 2017 everyone! We had an exciting 2016 here at BIM professionals and are eager to see what the New Year will bring for our company. This past year we had the privilege of contributing to several great projects that we were proud to be a part of:
Epic Rec Center in Grand Prairie, TX
Seattle Humane Society in Seattle, WA
In the spring, we moved into our new office building in Cheyenne and have since expanded to a larger office space that we love. We were lucky enough to have the opportunity to travel to both Grand Prairie, TX and St. Louis, MO in the fall to meet with the crews and visit the construction sites of two projects we had completed. We wrapped up the year working on Waxahachie High School in TX and will be continuing the coordination work for the next couple months working with Commercial Mechanical Incorporated.
Currently we have been invited to bid on several new projects, and we look forward to the opportunity to contribute to these:
BIM Professionals has been awarded the contract for creating the underground plumbing shop drawings for the new Waxahachie High School in Waxahachie, TX. We are honored to be among the selected crews on this project to provide the coordinated plumbing shop drawings for such an amazing building.

Business Wire (2016)
This past week, Stephen Williams and Matt Williams made their way to St. Louis, Missouri and Dallas, Texas to check out job sites, and meet with staff members at Corrigan Company and Commercial Mechanical. We're honored to have worked with these companies for the past few years on multiple projects. See below for some of the pictures we were able to take while out there.
According to the Department of Labor the construction job ratio is at it's highest level since 2007. If you're looking for work, there is plenty out there. Might have to travel depending on where you live, but these are well needed positions that help create stability in our economy.

Work begins on $340 million Midtown redevelopment that will include stores, offices and food hall in St. Louis
It's wonderful to see St. Louis growing at such an amazing pace. We've had the pleasure of working on many projects in St. Louis over the past few years.
Steve Smith, the Lawrence Group’s chief executive, announced the work Thursday and added that Bull Moose Industries will take “a significant ownership interest” in what has grown to as large as a $340 million redevelopment of the 14-acre site.
The Lawrence Group’s name for the project at the Federal-Mogul site is City Foundry Saint Louis at Cortex. The site on Forest Park Avenue is between Vandeventer and Spring avenues on the north side of Highway 40 (Interstate 64) and east of the Cortex technology district.
About 48,000 square feet of restaurant and food hall space with approximately 20 “chef-driven” food stalls and as many as four full-service restaurants.

We've been researching alternative avenues for businesses to discover BIM Professionals. Being a smaller company has it's disadvantages for contractors to discover how passionate and dedicated we are to serving their needs. Along our research we came across Pro View from The Blue Book building and construction network. This powerful tool has many features we've been searching for; allowing us to provide client testimonials, insurance specification, previous project history and much more.
Over the past week; we have been working closely with the BBB to become accredited. We are happy to announce that last week we finished the paperwork and are officially accredited now. Check out the Wyoming / Co twitter page below
Here at BIM Professionals we are always looking for between ways to meet the needs of our clients. This weekend we will be mowing to a bigger office in Cheyenne, WY and almost doubling our square footage! This will allow us to expand even more; making sure we offer the best service to our clients and a more comfortable work environment for our employees.
BIM Coordination utilizes software such as AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks, Bluebeam and MEP Fabrication (to name a few) to reduce conflicts between different trades (HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical, Fire Protection). Traditionally, each of these trades attempt to work with one another in the field to establish the best locations for their equipment, piping or electrical systems. Unfortunately, this takes an incredible amount of time away from the installers and is not very efficient since they’re not able to plan the entire project all at once. What happens when BIM Coordination is involved, we establish routing, elevations and locations for the Plumbing, Electrical, Fire Protection, and HVAC prior to or during construction. This allows for planning and RFIs (Request for Information) to be submitted before they become costly mistakes in the field. Once coordinated, we then provide coordinated files to the contractors. Once approved, each trade will sign off and lock the files from further edits (unless it is needed, we can unlock these files for edits to solve additional issues that may arise). We then create detailed construction drawings to provide to the installers, giving them exact locations for all systems they’ll be installing. Installers can then rest assure every bolt, pipe and clearance area has been planned out and will not cause a problem later down the road.
This up-front planning allows for smooth and easy installation for each trade in the field. BIM Professionals specialize in planning for field installation, with years of experience both in the office and in the field. We understand how to save time and create the most cost efficient installations. Allowing for maximum profit and manageable costs throughout the project.
